IACS and Cybersecurity Conference (English)

The Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure (RDI) is organizing a conference on Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) and Cybersecurity on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The RDI is hosting this event in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and in partnership with the IACS coalition. The conference will take place at the Rijtuigenloods in Amersfoort with check-in starting at 9:30.

Discover the latest developments in IACS and Cybersecurity. Learn from experts, expand your network, and optimize your strategies. Strengthen your foundation, protect your future.

Background and Objectives of the Conference

The focus on cyber resilience in IACS is growing. It is therefore important to share knowledge on this topic. During the conference, inspiring speakers will take the stage, initiatives will be brought together, there will be opportunities for networking, and research in this field will be shared. The increasing digitalization of physical processes through IACS offers many advantages but also introduces risks related to digital threats. This is highlighted in the Netherlands Cybersecurity Strategy (NLCS). As a result, cybersecurity is also receiving attention in legislation, such as the Network and Information Systems Security Act (Wet Beveiliging Netwerk- en Informatiesystemen, Wbni)  and its successor, the Cyberbeveiligingswet (NIS2 Directive).

Tracks

During the conference, we will guide you through three exciting topics related to IACS and cybersecurity. Each track consists of three sessions. When registering, you can choose from our carefully curated tracks and explore the latest insights, strategies, and innovations. Be inspired by real-world case studies and strengthen your knowledge in risk management, collaboration within ecosystems, and technological breakthroughs.

Track 1: Effective Risk Management
In this track, we dive deeper into how companies can effectively manage risks within industrial automation and control systems. We will discuss best practices, sector-specific education programs, and strategic approaches to anticipating threats. These sessions will provide you with practical tools and insights for a future-proof approach.

Track 2: Ecosystems
Collaboration within complex ecosystems is crucial for success. In this track, we explore how companies, suppliers, and partners can work together in an ever-evolving industry. We will share experiences and strategies to build a sustainable and resilient network.

Track 3:  Innovation and Lessons Learned
Learn from the experiences of others and discover the latest innovations in IACS. This track offers real-world case studies, lessons from the past, and insights to help you improve and innovate your own processes.
